Prof. (Dr.) Roy K George

Director Academics- Baby Memorial Hospital & Principal Baby Memorial College Of Nursing

Prof (Dr) Roy K George began his illustrious career with a graduation in nursing from Government College of Nursing, Kottayam followed by an MSc in nursing from NIMHANS, Bangalore. He earned his PhD from the School of Behavioral Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi university, Kerala.

He has decades of experience in academic administration in colleges and universities in addition to his passion for teaching and research. With many projects in dementia and more than 35 scientific articles in national and international journals, he has also published two books. He is a member of board of studies of various universities and is a PhD guide.

He is currently the national president of the Trained Nurses Association of India, a member of the statutory body in nursing, the Indian Nursing Council and an active member of academic council of Kerala University of Health Sciences.

He is the head of the academic wing of Baby Memorial Hospital and is in charge of planning, development and administration of academic activities of different streams spreading over diploma, degree, post graduate and PhD programme in nursing and allied health sciences.

Prof. (Dr.) Soya K

Vice Principal- College Of Nursing & HOD- Deparment Of Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing

With a rich background in education and a passion for fostering student success, Prof (Dr)Soya K brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the nursing college. Her graduation and post graduation are from Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode.

She is the first to earn PhD from Baby Memorial College of Nursing, affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Over the past 18 years, she has excelled in various roles including vice principal of college of nursing, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to student development and academic achievement. She is a certified trainer of IAP-NNF neonatal resuscitation, certified trainer of global fund for aids and tuberculosis management, and a certified diabetes educator by Indian Association of Diabetes Educators.

Prof. Agnet Beena Mani

Coordinator of PG Studies And HOD - Department of Medical Surgical Nursing

Prof. Agnet Beena Mani, a distinguished scholar and educator in the field of nursing, earned her MSc nursing from Government College of Nursing, Trivandrum with a specialization in medical surgical nursing.

Over her 32 years of professional experience, she focuses on strengthening the academic programmes, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

She is a certified trainer in simulation-based learning from national reference simulation centre run by the Indian Nursing Council and JHEPIGO, a certified trainer of global fund for aids and tuberculosis management, and a certified diabetes educator by Indian Association of Diabetes Educators.

She is currently the chairperson programme committee of TNAI, Kerala state branch.

Prof. Pramina Mukkolath

HOD - Department of Foundations of Nursing

Prof. Pramina Mukkolath has been a cornerstone of our nursing faculty bringing an impressive blend of expertise, experience and dedication to nursing education.

Beyond her academic activities, she is actively involved in professional organisations where they collaborate with peers to advance the practice and standards of foundations of nursing. Her involvement in these organizations underscores her dedication to the nursing profession and her commitment to fostering the next generation of nursing professionals.

She is a certified diabetes educator by Indian Association of Diabetes Educators and a certified trainer of KUHS faculty development unit of BMCON.

Presently she holds the post of secretary of TNAI, Kerala state branch.

Prof. Elizabeth Varkey

Chief Nursing Officer - Baby Memorial Hospital & HOD - Department of Child Health Nursing

Prof. Elizabeth Varkey; a highly dedicated nursing teacher by profession holding the experience of teaching for 14 years, into the administrative role as Chief Nursing Officer, passionate about quality and patient care. Having completed her MSc in nursing from Father Muller College of Nursing, Mangalore, she has amassed extensive experience both in the field of nursing education and clinical nursing. Her leadership journey has demonstrated profound impact on healthcare delivery and nursing practice.

Prof. Bindu S

HOD - Department of Community Health Nursing

Prof. Bindu s, a post graduate from Government College of Nursing, Kozhikode, is a passionate educator dedicated to preparing the next generation of nurses. Her innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success have earned respect of both colleagues and students alike.

In addition to her academic achievements, she is known for her contributions in the field of literature, mentorship and community involvement, contributing her expertise to advance the field and benefit the community.

Her presence significantly enhances the department and provide valuable opportunities for students.
