The Department of Child Health Nursing at Baby Memorial College of Nursing
serves as a vibrant and dynamic center shaping the future pediatric nurses. We
provide comprehensive education to both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing
students, covering the care of neonates, children, and adolescents in alignment with
the Indian Nursing Council's curriculum. Our mission is to equip students with the
knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to provide outstanding care to infants,
children, and adolescents. Through a combination of theoretical foundations,
clinical simulations, and real-world experiences, our students gain a deep
understanding of child health nursing principles, including health promotion,
disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. A well-
equipped laboratory with models, mannequins, instruments, and audio-visual aids
enhances the teaching and learning process. We foster a supportive learning
environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Our
experienced faculty members are passionate about mentoring students to become
competent, confident, and caring pediatric nurses.
